This is kinda like a TIL thing.
This could be sort of a spin-off of brando's "How was your day" topic and maybe MoD's "Legit Quote Museum".
I wanted to create this to put lessons that we have learned in the day all in one place. I've been asking about positivity, and people have told me some things about it; and I've been learning from that. I've also been learning about many different religious viewpoints. Heck, I've been learning more things in Calculus. And why not: I've also been learning new things about Super Smash Bros 4.
We all learn stuff day after day whether it's something that'll help us in life or is just plain ridiculous. So, what have you learned? What have you learned today or yesterday or some time ago.
You can talk about what you learned in school. Did you learn a new literary term in English or a new grammar rule in a foreign language?
You can talk about a life lesson you gained. It can be a simple lesson like "Don't give up" (common anime theme right now).
It can be any kind of interesting fact. Heck even a boring fact. It can be something about...uh Dolphins or...the color Red.
Talk about facts that other have posted. Give your opinion about it. Do you like it? Did it change your life? Did you tell it to your friends?
The whole purpose of this is this: Life is a learning experience. I think the more we know, the better off we are in life. So I want to have this be a place to share facts or information with one another. I want to learn what YOU have learned. I'm curious.

Also the highlighted things above are not set in stone. It's just a general idea of the types of things we've learned that we can share.

Today, I learned that the late great Roger Ebert wrote a positive three-star review of Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties...from the point of view of Garfield.

Today, I learned that the worst things always seem to happen to the best people. Why world, why.

1) It's really amusing/satisfying to watch complacency come back around and bite someone in the ♥♥♥ sometimes, even though I probably shouldn't be laughing about it
Corollary to TIL 1) Confidence doesn't necessarily entail success, and likewise, uncertainty doesn't mean failure.
2) I'm way better than I thought I was at procrastinating (i.e. I thought I was making good progress toward ultimately stopping procrastinating, but I guess I relapsed or something, good job me)
