I have been a member of this community for a number of years now, and I have had the pleasure and privilege of sharing my philosophy and learning with you how to be a rational, reasonable, and compassionate force for good in our broken world. I am in awe over how you have all responded to that, taking it on, making it your own, and becoming exemplary young adults as you strive to become better people and take back control of your own lives from the chaos that surrounds you. I see no better example of this today than our dear Oreo, here in this thread, who has not only dealt with several extremely difficult things, but done it publicly with pride, and found it within herself to find enough compassion for all parties involved to make the most difficult of decisions to not just move on and continue bravely to live her life, but also not make the situation one that makes the lives of those around her, most especially her attacker, a miserable one.
You guys amaze me. I am proud beyond words, and humbled to have been a part of building a community where you gather, and continue to grow into truly beautiful human beings.
