As the election goes on, and with the New York primaries tomorrow, people I know have already started thinking about a Hillary Vs Drumpf election.
New Hampshire absolutely hates Hillary, just like most of the country is only starting to realize now; when it's too late. People here will not be voting, and if they are, it will be for trump or the green party. That's not my decision, (I can't even vote yet) but this looks to be the case for a lot more people than you'd think.
Quite frankly, I wouldn't vote either. I hate both and it goes against my morals to vote for either of them.

In regards to New York, submission to register as a democrat ended in OCTOBER. Bernie was only then truly getting momentum, and anyone who now knows about Bernie and wants to vote for him in New York can't because they were almost half a year too late and independents can't vote in democratic polls. This is why closed primaries, especially New York's, are ♥♥♥♥.

Ultimately, we've been spoiled by Obama into having someone that we WANT to have in the White House to vote for. Every other election I remember has been about choosing the lesser of two evils. This election is just a return to form.

My parents are not going to vote for either parties this year. They can't trust Hillary to stick to her political views and they would never consider Drumpf. I think voting is important, but I just don't we want a part of this election anymore.
Edit: that didn't happen

I've come to find its usually those who know they won't be the first to get screwed over who don't mind not voting. Hell, if the wall is gonna be built around the others, why should one care?

I mean, I'm sorry that I'm a little concerned about sitting back and letting a president who wants to strip away my human rights get elected?

Doram wrote:Ok, let's be real, people. We are voting for whoever ISN'T Donald Trump. Hillary might be an ♥♥♥ sometimes, but she's an accidental ♥♥♥. Trump's an ♥♥♥ on purpose.

You might wanna take that back. Hillary's a literal snake, and she's had multiple instances where she's downright lied in her speeches and shown excessive racism throughout her campaign.

Trump's a buffoon, he would immediately fail in diplomacy and international affairs.

Clinton's a snake, she would do well in diplomacy and international affairs at first until the world leaders find out how much she's lied to them. Then her standing would plummet hard.

Jill Stein's pretty cool but I really think we should focus all voting efforts on Bernie, if we split up our votes between Jill Stein and Bernie Sanders then the totals wouldn't be enough to topple Hillary.

Don't be so aggressive to me or my parents for choosing not to vote for either then. I don't care if that's not what you intended,
so if one were to say "i support donald trump" how quickly would you all get on their cases and/or ban them

It's not the fact that you support Drumpf that I find the worst part. it's that it's clear that from that discussion in the chat the other day and this post that you only support trump because you want to start drama, made clearer by the fact that you explicitly implied that you expect drama, and even more so, insultingly implied we're the type of community to ban people for that. You know nothing about trump himself, yet another thing that is not hard to see judging by how you repeated numerous times during that discussion in the chat other day that you actually don't know much. Clearly, right?
Now, if you actually end up doing research, and still support him, beyond the stigma of "Disrupt the system, outsider" ♥♥♥♥. That's something I'll respect you significantly less for (screw me for disliking people who support people who discriminate, right?) . I'm not gonna do your research for you, if you feel the need to make posts clearly intended to start drama then you should have some substance behind them.

Jill Stein's pretty cool but I really think we should focus all voting efforts on Bernie, if we split up our votes between Jill Stein and Bernie Sanders then the totals wouldn't be enough to topple Hillary.

I wish I could agree, but Bernie's chances were ruined by the New York primary. I'm hoping his campaign, despite failing, inspires change in the system. I'm not gonna be following politics nearly as much now that my candidate is gone. President Hillary, everyone. Drumpf's existence gave her a free pass. The reasoning behind voting for Jill is that if she gets a specific number (or percentage?) of votes, she gets funds for her campaign next election time. Jill Stein 2020.

alright then
let's talk donald, so you can stop accusing me of not knowing what i'm talking about (because if i didn't, then why would i even say anything)

Okay, firstly, I'm still not sure where people get the idea he discriminates from. Yes, you can bring up his issues with Islam, but can you really say that's NOT justified? He's putting caution and the country he's trying to be in charge of first which is all well and good considering the outbreak of Islamic terrorism across the globe. And don't even start with Mexicans, because he has not once stated anything against Mexicans. Only illegal immigrants who just so happen to be coming from Mexico. Any other group of people I can't think of any particular accusations.

On that note, isn't you calling him 'Drumpf' racist? His family adjusted the family name from its German origins to fit in better when they entered the United States. 'Drumpf' is not, and never was his name, calling him that is pretty racist in regards to his origins. So quit being immature and attacking him for hypocritical and nonsensical reasons. If you're gonna call him out on discrimination, maybe you might want to fix your own jib.

Otherwise as it stands this thread has brought up no further points of discussion than discrimination when it comes to Trump. If you have anything else to say on Trump's policies (such as his views on education), I'll be happy to discuss that too along with what I've already said. Alternatively you can just throw out all of your points surrounding Bernie and I might just see what you mean. I don't really have any stake in this, so I'll have no issues changing my mind should it come to that.

EDIT: I might as well add. In the discord you say that I don't know anything about him other than 'what [he] is portrayed as in media". Considering the media has a go at every last word that comes out of his mouth, even to the point of intentionally misinterpreting them to make him sound worse than he is, I hardly see how that means anything.
