Man, I almost feel sorry for you guys ...

this is just a lighter version of Hindenburg vs. Hitler in 1932. Though I'm pretty confident that Hillary can beat Trump, and that's the most important thing to worry about.

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

I am sure this hate is quite over exaggerated and yes, while the president does play a role, especially given the fact that the US is a presidential republic, I want to point out that things are not as worse as they seem. Regardless if you get Trump, Bernie or Hillary, The Parliament, or in your case, The Congress will pay a major role in your politics. No matter how many good initiatives the president has, if The Congress wants to slow down or halt it's progress, it will do it. No matter how idiotic plans like "build a wall against Mexican Immigrants" cross the mind of the president, it's up to The Congress if it will be implemented.

You need to consider choosing a good president, because (s)he is the individual that will represent you internationally, so other leaders and nations will make an impression of you based on your representative. If you choose a fool or an unmannered individual, then your prestige and influence will decrease. You also need a "good guy" so he can veto unfavourable laws, such as SOPA, PIPA, ACTA and the whole family.

Either way, please don't focus just on this single position and choose your parliament's representatives carefully, as they will me the ones shaping your life. This is a common mistake people do, not in United States, but globally, paying more attention to the president and less to their parliament and the gouverment overall.

Supershroom wrote:this is just a lighter version of Hindenburg vs. Hitler in 1932.

Weimar Republic was fragile, unlike The United States, which is a stable country. And people aren't fools, while Hitler did obtain his position lawfully and democratic, if the president causes trouble or is too controversial, he will be removed from it's position. We have Nixon and Bill Clinton as examples.
Not to mention the context doesn't compare at all and this is just pure exaggeration to make things seem a little darker (media loves controversies). We have a saying in Romania, "The Devil is not as black as people claim it is".

Oh, I'm fully aware this isn't a dictatorship, the Presidential power isn't nearly as big and Congress is the one behind many of the laws that have been put forth. However, don't underestimate the President's position at the same time. I'm never going to elect any president who seeks the position for financial success and income... which is sadly what Hillary and Trump are likely to do.

Supershroom wrote:Though I'm pretty confident that Hillary can beat Trump, and that's the most important thing to worry about.

Wrong. The most important thing to worry about is either one of those "candidates" from getting into office. If it really does become a Hillary vs Trump race I'm making preparations to move out of the country. I'm very positive either one is going to ruin the USA's reputation for a long, long time, if not forever.
Expect something cool here soon!

Sad truth: most of the politicians will seek to do that. I'm not familiar with the situation in other countries, but I'll use the situation in Romania as a comparison. Situation here is pretty ♥♥♥♥ as it is, meaning a politician can't fully enjoy his mandate without facing hordes of protesters, propaganda from the media and their opposition. The gouverment is the first one to eat ♥♥♥♥ here, starting with the Prime-Minister and his cabinet and ending with the senators and deputies, and rightfully so, since they are the ones calling the shots around here.

However, the president isn't clean either, and here, like in other countries, some people, if not most, still believe he is the one controlling the country and making every decision, while his powers are actually quite limited. Here, like in other countries, people choose only the populars because "third-parties have no chance" and will choose them based on stupid biases (see current president). Nevertheless it does not affect us on a big scale unless he makes a fool out of himself at international meetings, such as EU meetings.

You need to understand the reason why people enter politics in the first place. How many of them enter because they trully want to make a chance, because they trully put the country and the nation before them? Quite a few, if any at all. Politics is like the american dream, people enter it for the opportunity to get a better life for themselves. While there might be some honest folks around, ultimately they do it for their sake, the pension scheme for a politician is quite nice, pay isn't bad also, if you are good at doing shady stuff you might get a few "bonuses" and so on.

Unless you get a Lenin or Castro that will actually fight to make a chance, nothing much will be done and you shall aknoweledge that the politicians are firstly there for themselves and then for the others, not the other way around.

Oh? This caught my attention, do you trully plan on moving away if any of those two get in the office? If so, please do tell me more. Where do you plan to move? Where do you consider will be better? Why do you consider it will be better in that certain place than here?
I consider the idea nothing more than an exaggeration, but if it's serious, then I think there are many more factors to take into consideration when moving away than just "Ugh, politicians here suck". I met people claiming to move outside for various reasons, which I ultimately considered foolish, but I want to know more.

My family isn't voting for hillary or trump this election, but we're all semi-okay if we get Hillary. And let me reassure you: We WILL get Hillary. Trump has absolutely no chance against her. If the most he can do is make posts like Image, he will never improve his poll ratings where he is lacking majorly.
Image
No one can really deny that Hillary DOES have experience in numerous things like foreign policy, so I have a tiny bit of faith in her. She's no Sanders or Jill Stein, but she's also no Trump. Let's just hope she stays being the Hillary who wants to continue Obama's plans.
Regardless, moving out of the country is an incredibly dumb idea. I don't think most people take into consideration how expensive that is, and how long the process is, or anything like that. I have citizenship in Canada and a house in Canada, so yeah, it's completely plausible for me. But the Canadian citizenship system is very selective, most people don't realize that, and the process of moving in general is expensive as it is and most people simply can't afford it. Don't go broke trying to leave the country. Deal with Hillary for 4 (and if she does well, 8 ) years.

You act like we haven't had bad presidents in the past who people probably thought would ♥♥♥♥ over the country's reputation after some of the things they did or let happen (see: Pierce, Buchanan, Grant, the entire 1920s [Harding, Coolidge, Hoover], etc.). I still think Hillary's pretty awful as a person as showcased by most of her history, but even so, her (current) policies are at least agreeable enough for me to not be vehemently opposed to her, and she's not going to "ruin the USA's reputation" (does it really even have a good reputation currently?). Again, all I really see in some of you guys is irrational fearmongering. Same goes for comparing this to Hindenburg v Hitler (WTF???). You all need to take a couple deep breaths and slow down, it's not the end of the world or the country.

I FIGURED OUT TRUMP'S PLAN!

He wants to start a war (Because if you look at history, starting a war tends to help the economy greatly. It ended the Great Depression) to get us out of debt.

At least I think that's Trump's plan......

Starting a war isn't that easy. For a start you need a casus belli, a reason to start the war. If you look at both World Wars, you'll see there were deeper causes and preparations for starting a war. Plus during both, the US was not exactly war happy, but rather joined as a support.

But assuming you're right, elaborate the idea. Is there a context or a reason to start a war? If so against who and how will it benefit us?

This is all probably irrelevant to the topic at hand, but I did some investigative journalism and found a lot of things Trump and his family tried to keep under wraps. Some are normal tabloid ♥♥♥♥, but others show just how cruel this man truly can be.

Spoiler: show
Fred Trump was arrested the day of a KKK rally, when a fight broke out and an officer was assaulted. He was discharged, and Trump's remark was "It didn't happen. I know it didn't happen, so people shouldn't say it happened, because it didn't happen."

Fred Trump has a son, Freddy Jr, who passed away from liver failure. Under advisory of Donald, Fred Trump wrote one of his son's and his children out of his will, giving it all to Donald and his sister, the judge.

Fred Trump Jr. has a nephew with epilepsy and cerebral palsy. The money from the will would have helped to medicate this, and the family did sue Donald in retaliation. Donald's response was to mention their mother's dementia, ruling that she would not be able to spend it correctly on his nephews and nieces. As such, the family is excluded from any form of monetary support, and Trump is no longer in contact with these members. He DOES however, like to bring up his brother's alcoholism as a reason why he doesn't smoke or drink. I guess that makes up for it.

Melania Trump is the daughter of Viktor Knavs. Viktor is/was a car salesman from Eastern Europe in the USSR. Knavs was also a registered Communist, which guaranteed he and his family several benefits. This guaranteed Melania the power to become a model and be taken notice of by an American photographer. Trump married her primarily because of her wealth, and knew he could bank off her. However, after the taco bowl post was made, many were quick to spot that he still has a bikini photo of his ex, Marla Maples.

Melania also has a half-brother, and is aggravated if you bring him up. His name is Denis Cigelnjak, and he is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ child of VIktor Knavs, who wanted him aborted and wanted nothing to do with him. Melania feigned knowing him until papers were given, then asked we not invade her father's privacy. He's 50 and lives in Slovenia.

Donald once tried to pay off a Playboy journalist to ensure the article describing in detail his mood swings and toxic personality would not be published. He later phoned said journalist "too livid to speak" when his plan was thwarted.
