Misanthropy

In recent months, I've started to lose my trust in humanity. All around I see emotion, selfishness, and naiveness. But my mistrust is pushing me toward new preferences.

I'd love to tell you more, but I need to get back to work right now.

First post was rushed, but I stand by those words, quite frankly. I don't recall how I came to work this way, but I might as well shut up for today.

No, what I mean is what you are saying, more or less, is you've become cynical. Not a bad thing, not a good thing, it's in the grey and can go either or.

You see humans as animals with heightened consciousness, detrimental to themselves and others, that seem to cause more problems than good. Nothing too wrong with that, so long as it doesn't escalate into anything that results in harming others.

Never really thought about cynicism, yet never known I showed it.

It drives my away rather than up a wall, but that's probably due to so many other things going on in my life.

Also, I can assure you I wouldn't get myself out of hand. I have something, known as a conscience, that stops me all the time.
