Okay, you just came home from school and you open up the forums. The thing you didn't know is that you were chatting with your class teacher at school. Then you swore at the site. (The site, not the teacher.) The next day you arrive at school, to class. Would the teacher be happy?
The real question is: Are teachers are able to tell you off 24/7 or just when you done something wrong AT SCHOOL? Discuss here.

There have been several Supreme Court cases about this. So I'll tell you this.
Teachers are allowed to censor and/or punish you for such things off school when it is based on illegal activities. The staff at your school has something called locus parentis, meaning that they are your parents during school, and anything directly correlated to the school could be punished for, even if it's not during school.

Not 24/7, they can only really tell you off when you are at school. You can only be told off for swearing if it's against the rules, if it isn't, then they can't. If your teacher was on the forum, and knew who you were (doubt they would), they can't tell you off. They might not be happy, but they can't do anything.
