All numbers are equal to zero?

So basically I was bored as hell and did some simple math with ∞.

∞ + 1 = ∞
0 * ∞ = 0
∞ / ∞ = 1
1 / ∞ = 0
∞ - ∞ = 0

...wait, go back to number 4.

1 / ∞ = 0

Let's set 1 as x.

x / ∞ = 0

If you pay attention is school, you know, if you multiply both sides of a equation with the same number, x stays the same. So let's multiplay with ∞...

x = ∞ * 0

And since (number) * 0 is always 0...

x = 0

MIND = BLOWN.

Basically, I just made every bumber existant equal to 0. As you see, math is full of screwups.

Now there are 2 contraries:
a) (number which is not 0) / (other number which is not 0) never equals 0
b) parallels meet in infiniteness

...what the hell did the inventor of math/∞ think when doing this?

Since infinite is technically not a number, and is the highest of limits of which there are no limits....then what do you get when you square infinity?

Or divide infinity by zero?

infinity is actually a hidden number, not the highest number. The symbol means any number.
For example: 0 * ∞ = 0
The infinity sign could be a zero.

The problem is.. 1 / ∞ is not exactly equal to 0, but a number infinitely CLOSE to 0.
Like 0.0000000000000000... (with infinite zeros... then a 1)
So x / ∞ = 0 is really a false statement as you just proved....

Either way, I don't really have a clue what you're saying, but I figured something out.

If I divide by zero, the world explodes.

If all numbers=Zero, then any number divided should make the world explode.

But, if I divide a number by, say, 6, then nothing happens.

So not all numbers equal zero.

Infinity is a fickle thing…especially when doing limits in Calculus.

Yeah, that's pretty cool Suyo, but x/∞ = 0 is true only when x = 0. Nice thinking though…
