Kill Switch of DOOM

According to the news, Obama's trying to get a Bill passed that will give him the power to shut off the nation's Internet, in case of a security crisis. The "Internet Kill Switch".

Is this possible, and what do you think about it? Discuss. :awe:

This have non-sense, that would cost alot to the US gouvernement. And is the link a good source of information? I think everyone could said anything just to freak out people. Anyways, I'm from the Canada so I have nothing to worry... right??
