When will we have World Peace?

I know Iran or Afghanistan lent us some uranium to make electricity for them.

So technically we're kind of their friends.

So what's gonna happen next?

Any ideas, tips, any comments?

we'll never have world peace, dude. I'm sorry, but it's a fact. And besides, without bad, there is no good. World peace is what we all want, but in the end, it would be terrible if it happened.

Oh, and for the record, I don't think gangs and crime is a good thing (so don't give me crap about that), it's just a thing we'd have to get used to. Without gangs and violence, there'd be no jails, people would have no jobs.....the world would simply become chaos.

Peace isn't coming anytime soon, Almost half of the jobs in the world is based on restraining chaos and keeping order.
If we had peace now, we would just be knocking down the blocks and making it all worse.

Plus, it's not possible to like everyone too.

Exactly.

We will only have peace when those who are keeping the world from peace get their act together, but of course it won't happen.

We can stop wars from happening which could minimize bloodshed.

We don't necessarily need 100% peace in this world, otherwise as you guys said, the economy wouldn't sustain itself, and things just wouldn't work out. If however, occurrences such as war and murder weren't apparent, the Earth would get along just fine. No jobs would be lost (except for those along the lines of assassination, which quite frankly, we could do without) and no weapons of mass destruction would be crafted, thus, keeping the Earth that much healthier.

It's just a matter of those currently fighting these kinds of battles to realize that killing will only bring forth more destruction. Nothing is solved by war, and never should anything be. Those who think it does solve problems are living a lie. A huge, deadly lie.

Well, that's a kinda dumb story.
Really, the earth can use some more peace. At the Oktoberfest over here in Germany there was a terror warning, at you could notice it since there were way less visitors. And since we have to a gouvernment cosisting out of 2 parties which want to have the troops staying in Afghanistan, the chance for a attack raises.
Good we live in a kinda quiet part of the city.

Peace is just an illusion. If we did not have anger, and hate, then we would not have peace. It would just be normal life. You need hate to have happiness, so you feel the difference. (Am i correct or just ranting ?)

I agree with you, but really, if you look at life in that kind of perspective, you could just say that happiness, evil, good, anger, any emotion, and thought, is just an "illusion," because there is a direct opposite emotion or thought.

So basically, nothing can exist without it's opposite?
