Don't look on it in such a sad light. It's not like the world's going to blow up in your lifetime, nor be reduced to a huge, dead, burning rock. Though not as healthy as it once was, the Earth is coping just fine for now.
The #1 cause is us using up all the fuels, and cutting the trees before they even get a chance to grow. I think we got enough cities on the planet without adding more. And the only non fueled car that helps the environment costs 50,000,000!
