Yo. I made this topic because I feel that a lot of my levels have room for improvement... and I'm not the only one like that. So I made this topic so that people can put up their levels for review and revision. For instance...

This level (named Castle Cooldown), which is meant to be World 5-2 of my "Super Luigi Bros. 2" series, is meant to essentially be Mario and Luigi discussing tactics with Princess Peach and two other friends (one of them being my self-insert, and the other being a fan character.) As such, there isn't supposed to be anything too dangerous in the level - that'll come in the follow-up (which I'm still working on,) when Bowser Jr. arrives in a weird pinball mecha to kidnap Peach. Unfortunately, the whole "tactical discussion" thing means that I can't come up with anything to put in Castle Cooldown. :(

So, that's the gist of this topic. Somebody puts up a level that they want revised and discloses what they want the level to be like, then others give advice on how the level can be improved. So, yeah. I have nothing more to say, so please feel free to get the discussion underway.

Well, I'll tell you right now, that is a TERRIBLE level right there if you were to leave it. But I can tell it is just unfinished. This is what I can say now: nobody can review your level until it is actually finished. I like the idea of this topic and all though, we can really make some better level designers here.

Later: Oh, Nexi already made a similar topic? Should we lock it?

Uh... that's the thing. I have no idea how to finish it!!! :oops:

This level, "Pin-Plumber Pulverizer", is meant to be the inside of a mecha controlled by Bowser Jr. For some unfathomable reason, he decided to base its design on a pinball machine. Anyways, while Mario and Luigi were trying to come up with a plan with Princess Peach on how to break Kamek's spell that turned them into fruit snacks (yes, I'm serious - totally Bowser's most retarded idea ever), Bowser Jr. shows up to kidnap Peach on Bowser's behalf. Anyways, he grabs her with a mecha-arm, and the Mario Bros. leap on, only to wind up inside the pinball machine. Then Bowser Jr. pulls the plunger, and the next thing the Mario Bros. know, they're bouncing around in the pinball machine. So, this level's supposed to be chaotic and unpredictable... but, if you load it up, you'll notice that I've really only managed to complete the bottom of the pinball machine. I'm not quite sure how to approximate the fields of bumpers, launchers, spinners, and what-not in the typical modern pinball machine, and as a result, I'm stuck. :?

Oh, well here's how. One thing, you can't just have a blank floor and a star. You need to start out with a main idea inspiration. What is your level about? Then base your level off of the idea. I just go from there.

"Castle Cooldown" is basically the Mario Bros. discussing strategy with Princess Peach. Maybe they could go through training exercises, but this level's fairly late in the game...

I don't know if something like this has been done before, but it wasn't done by me. I think it sounds like an epic idea, but no suggestions on how to make it work right now.
