is it possible to put a sprite and edit it's size and shape (such as flame towers) and have it look the same after you disabled it?

Code editing is something that, I think, wasn't actually considered when developing the Level Designer, so you cannot change Sprites' behaviors other than causing certain, unintentional tweaks, like disabling and having more space in signs or item properties, or to give things more precise or normally unattainable values (like when rotating things and adjusting speeds.), etc.

Short answer: No.

Flame towers do disable at different sizes though because you actually have a disable feature. But other items don't. Like disabling a block will leave you a red one.

2: Change the color to something easy to spot in the level code.
3: Copy the level code.
4: Find the color number in the code.
5: Change that number to something but a number.
Your done! The bills from that base will be flashing and invincible!
Before: 71,x,y,Direction,Rotation,Speed,Wait,Offset,Color,0

After: 71,x,y,Direction,Rotation,Speed,Wait,Offset,NaN,0

or instead of NaN, just put 0, less typing

Um, 0 won't work as it is a number, and you need something that is not a number. If you didn't know, that's what NaN stands for

Or you can just don't put nothing:

71,x,y,Direction,Rotation,Speed,Wait,Offset,,0

Vertical Teleporter

Remember the well known switch teleporter? And all the other goddamn teleporters that only teleport by one way without letting you go back? Because of this, after some really long time of research, I present you the Up-Down teleporters!

To teleport above you

Very easy to do, you only need to follow exactly these steps:

  • Place a rotating platform with 180 of speed, and the radius between 50-75.
  • Place it close to the ceiling, and put some tiles to hide it, but to help with teleporting as well.
  • Test the level, and jump under the place you chose to be the teleporter. You can put some items to decorate and give the impression of a real teleporter.

Demo:
Code: Select all
65x65~0*27*4T*34*:m*2*4T*2*0*27*4T*32*4V0*3*4T*2*0*27*4T*32*0*4*4T*2*0*27*4T*31*4V0*3*4X4T*2*0*27*4T*31*0*3*4X4T*3*0*27*4T*31*0*3*4T*4*0*27*4T*31*0*3*4T*4*0*27*4T*31*0*3*4W4T*3*0*27*4T*31*0*4*4W4T*2*0*27*4T*31*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*31*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*31*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*31*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*31*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*31*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*11*4V0*3*4T*16*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*11*0*3*8D4T*16*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*10*4V0*3*8F4T*16*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*10*0*5*4T*16*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*10*0*4*8G4T*16*0*5*4T*2*0*27*4T*10*0*4*8E4T*16*4V0*4*4T*2*0*27*4T*10*0*5*4T*17*0*4*4T*2*0*27*4T*10*0*4*4X4T*17*4V0*3*4T*2*0*27*4T*10*0*3*4X4T*24*0*27*4T*10*0*3*4T*25*0*27*4T*10*0*3*4T*25*0*27*4T*10*0*3*4T*25*0*27*4T*10*0*3*4T*25*0*27*4T*10*0*3*4T*25*0*27*4T*10*0*3*4T*25*0*27*4T*10*0*3*4T*25*0*27*4T*10*7^*3*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*25*0*40*4T*6*0*59*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*60*4T*5*0*85*~1,160,1912,0,0,Right|8,560,1744,180,2,70,0,2|130,368,1976,1,0|042,576,1944,1,0|042,568,1944,1,0|042,560,1944,1,0|042,552,1944,1,0|042,544,1944,1,0|73,464,1984,Jump%20into%20the%20badly%20designed%20cauldron%20to%20magically%20teleport%20somewhere%20else%2E|141,560,1912,1,180|42,576,1280,1,0|42,568,1280,1,0|42,560,1280,1,0|42,552,1280,1,0|42,544,1280,1,0|43,1024,1247~1~1~Testing%2C%20testing%2C%20testing%2E%2E%2E

To teleport below you:

This one is more complicated than the first one, but not so hard.

  • Put a Moving platform with the y length of "999", the touch-n-go with "1" in the count settings, and the acceleration at "999".
  • Copy the code and paste it in Word or Notepad.
  • Find the platform in the code, and you will see this: |7,x_position,y_position,x_speed,y_speed,x_length,y_length,x_offset,y_offset,x_direction,y_direction,acceleration,platform size,touch-n-go count|
  • change the y_speed depending of how many tiles you want to teleport. 32= 1 tile.
  • Place it on the ground, and put some tiles to hide it.
  • Again, you can put some items covering the platform, if you want it to really look like a teleporter.

Demo:
Code: Select all
25x18~0*7*4c*6*0*2*4c*3*3v*7*4c*6*3v*2*4c*3*:m*6*04f4m4c*4*:m04f4c*2*:m*6*0*3*4c*4*:m0*2*4c*2*:m*6*04g4n4c*4*:m04g4c*2*3v*7*4c*6*3v*2*4c*3*0*7*4c*6*05<4c*4*4e0*4*5>4c*6*0534c*6*5^0*2*5?4c*6*05?4c*6*5V0*3*4c*6*0*2*4c*6*5Z5@*3*4c*6*0*2*4c*3*5254*2*5254*3*4c*6*0*2*4c*3*5I54*2*52545C544c*6*0*2*4c*3*5Q5S545B5452544c*6*0*2*4c*3*05I54*3*52544c*6*0*2*4c*3*05Q5S54*2*52544c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*2*5I54*2*5B544c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*2*5Q5S54*3*4c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*3*5I54*3*4c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*3*5Q5S54*2*4c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*4*5I54*2*4c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*4*5Q5S544c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*5*5I544c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*5*5Q5S4c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*6*5I4c*6*0*2*4c*3*0*8*3d*5*0*5*~1,141,181,0,0,Right|7,80,232,0,180,0,999,0,0,none,Down,999,1,1,1|141,80,232,1,180|28,96,672,1,0|28,112,680,1,95|42,80,224,1,0~14~13~This%20is%20a%20test
