Better navigation for choosing a level

Postby Blablob » December 31st, 2009, 8:03 am

The level designer has filled up with so many pages of levels, that's it's not even that funny. And that means there are, like, 10000 levels, and the number keeps on rising. But it is a big pain just going page after page after page, just to find one specific level. And with the number of levels increasing, this is only going to become a bigger issue. I think this needs to be resolved somehow, perhaps the ability to choose which page you want to go to? Or maybe a box that allows you to type in the name/creator of a level, and only those levels pop up? What do you think about this?

I'll agree with the second suggestion.

This has already been suggested, but nothing has happened. I would go with the search bar since then it's a lot easier to find the level you want.

Yes, a search feature would be good. I'm not sure if this has already been done, but perhaps make this suggestion in the Site Discussion forum?

If you look at the url, you can change the page number easily.

e.g:
Code: Select all
 if the current code is:
                        http://runouw.com/levels/levels.php?order=&page=1

Change the page=? put in whatever number you want.        If you want the fifth page:

http://runouw.com/levels/levels.php?order=&page=5
