15th Level Designer Contest

I spent a long time on this image, so please don't insult it. It won't like you for it.

You make a level that uses earth and sky (obviously). On earth, and in the air. Mario takes to the skies.. or does he have to get there first?

Your level should be a mixture of earth and sky based gameplay. What does that mean? It means that Mario should be on earth, and in the sky at some point in the level. How does he get to them? That's for you to decide.

The Rules:
- You can make Level Series for this contest, but bare in mind that this may hinder your score. The average of each one will determine your overall score.
- Your level must fit the theme
- No insults or profanity in the level.
- You must post a level created specifically for this contest. You cannot post an older level.
- You may team up with another user, and do a collaborative level. Just don't do one because you are allowed to.

How they will be judged:

10 points: Fun
Did you enjoy the level? Are there some parts that are frustrating, or annoying?

5 points: Graphics
Does the level have cutoff? Does it work well with the theme? Does it look good in general?

5 points: Other
You start off with 3 points. Judges will decide whether to take off or add on points based upon how deserving the level is. This could include secrets, lag, bugs or generally awesome things.

This totally was not taken straight from the last contest wrote:This was formerly simply the 'Other' Category, but I feel its purpose should be clarified. What this one is for is if there's something cool in the level, a little thing, but one that deserves merit or scolding, i.e. a cool feature with some platforms. And there's also bug report- i.e. if there's something out of place or that makes it hard to complete the level, i.e. no Shine Sprite, then you take a point or something like that.

If you would like to be a judge, please PM me. Judging must be done within a 2 week period (unless there is a major problem with judging), and judges must not drop out without good reason.


Deadline
by the end of September 25th

This gives you 3 weeks to make a level. So unless you really need an extension, you won't be getting one.

A girl bound in silence finds the words to say to her prospective girlfriend as they visit her religious father in a dusty town on the edge of Kansas, where the crows' migration south brings forth anchored memories, the path to resolution, and a new start.

(But srsly, I'm doing the BLOATS in a random order, and I just played Krazy321's Space Colonization, and I'm like... wow...

Hm, very interesting theme. I'll have to see if anything decent comes to mind.
Will do sporadic level reviews on request - PM if interested. I will only do one level at a time. I tend to be rather critical.
