The New Official Level Of The Week!

Heeeeelloo! Today is Sunday, past Saturday, where are the level of the week levels.
And not the stupid lame level of the week levels.

Hello folks! (never said that in my life..)

It is now time for the second level of the week.

Let's go straight to 5th place!

A Place in Space by King!

Type: Space.

Notes: Not one of King's most popular levels, but still great.

I'll make these level explanations brief.

Crescendo Hills by Cryokenetic!

Type: Multishine, Plains, Sky

Notes: Again, not a popular one of Cryo's, but still a good level.

This one has moved down from 3rd to 4th, but it's the only level still remaining from last week's level of the week list.

Journey to the Arctic (Part 2) by ~MP3 Amplifier~ and SuperMIC!

Type: World Travel, Adventure, Winter

Notes: Came joint second in the 17th LDC with MoD's level Roaming Celsius Luminary, and the second highest scoring collaboration of all time.

Yay for me and SMIC! :3

Green Path by Nworlds!

Type: Earth and Sky, Decorative

Notes: 4th place in the 15th LDC, Nworlds' first placing in an LDC

Congratz Nworlds! But let's see who's first..?

Dark pt1: Compell by MessengerOfDreams!

Type: Darkness

Notes: Has no placings yet as the 18th LDC is still up and running, but seems to be a good competition for other levels eager to receive a high placing

You just need to try and then have luck that you don'T get downrated so it has a 4+ score AND THEN hope that your level gets chosen for this AND THEN punch me if I continue saying "and then" AND THEN kill me for copying the "and then?" scene from a movie AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN *shot*

Very funny. Being honest, I doubt anyone has even seen one of my levels.

What Nworlds said, just pratice and you'll make great levels someday. LDCs are the key to fame... if you win.

Semi-true, GM. Winning an LDC will rocket your level designing career pretty well (DarkBlaze, Star king and I have enjoyed that effect) but not always, especially if one stops making levels (Cryo, Aznchau, Blablob). In many other cases, just placing well will ensure you great cred- MICrophone placed in nearly 10 LDCs but has won none of them, and Volcove entered nearly every LDC without winning until the 9th, and then not again until the 15th. Also consider Buffooner, Nworlds, Zebtrestalala and Mr_SaxMan- none of them won an LDC- hell, Zeb got 4th in the 7th LDC and in WITBLOAT with the SAME LEVEL! In fact, some people don't even need to place LDCs to get cred- King had a strong portal presence before winning the 14th LDC, and Ven had the Epic Mario World before winning the 10th LDC. Also consider Kirby859 and Republic, who never have placed in LDCs but have epic level series, and LordFalcon, who got a level that was never reviewed into WITBLO11. It really all comes down to the quality of your level and people who appreciate it. ^_^
