Yeah, I was thinking throughout the last few days that if it's one thing we lack in our innovative, gorgeous, incredible Super Mario 63 levels, it's fleshed out original characters. I'll admit that there are very few memorable or believable ones, or at least entertaining and fleshed out OCs. Personally, I think if you can design a good level, that's great, but if you couple it up with a memorable story, you could truly create an actual game.
So I want to hear from you. What OCs from SM63 levels do you love and remember? Two that immediately come to mind are
Professor Kolorado from
Fourinone's Arid Arid Desert, with a cameo in Ethereal Mansion. He's a character you could only expect from Fourinone- sort of unaware, good spirit, good sense of humor, and great with inadvertent fourth wall breaking.

I also quite like the
Player+Murph dynamic in
Master1.0's levels- I mean, I know their sense of humor has its off moments, but they have a great relationship and it's a good spicy idea to have 'two' characters doing the same level at once. Also to be considered is the main character that represents Mario in
Blood of Violet Hill by
SuperMIC. While the level itself was a definite hit-miss level, you could tell he was thinking out the story as if it was a real pen and pad story. I like those.
I love experimenting with characters myself, as you know, so I really love it when other people do the same in their levels.

Tell me about some of your favorites!
