Understandably, communication is hampered by my flat-out refusal to enter Chatango for longer than it takes to close out of that tab...
Basically, what Nworlds said was right. Nothing's official yet. However, I for one think it would be better to stick with the themes already built into the level designer (In no particular order they'd be Jungle, Grassland, Ice/Snow, Fire/Lava, Desert/Ruins, Cave, Sky/Airship(?), Water, and the castle tileset for the final castle and forts). Sure, a talented designer could whip up a cityscape using a combination of these, but in my mind this should be accessible for both beginners and veterans alike. Plus, I would personally love to see Mario bounding across the pinnacles of skyscapers in a Sky-themed level. If there are certain themes not listed above that are really popular, a new world might be made for them, but for now the bonus world will house all the more abstract ideas.
Secondly, the issue of red coins and silver stars (or any other powerup for that matter)... I'm personally against it, especially the stars and red coins, but they should be okay as long as they're used with common sense. In other words, don't have a star way at the end of the level that you need to get past an obstacle at the beginning... that's not very true to Mario style platforming at all. Stars that you'd use the entire way through, like a metal star in a Water theme would be awesome, but care would need to be taken to account for the star's power.
Thirdly, SuYo, you're a good level designer. I hope you don't mind me singling you out, but it's true. There's no need to be all submissive, lol. Also, Star, the banner's great. I would've changed the topic to match, but YB seems insistent that World is indeed cooler sounding than Land. Your call, guys. :p Lastly, perhaps the Level Moderators could assist with the overall running of this thing? I'm busy with finals and MoD seems to be invisible these days, so... you know, tweak what needs to be tweaked and have some fun with it. I don't wanna be a dictator, lol.
VenEDIT: Completely missed the point about the bosses... I'm open to allowing anyone to design the castles/forts themselves, however, bosses are horribly tricky if you're new to it... I won't flat out refuse to let anyone without prior experience, but perhaps those who know how to work things like offset would be better suited to oversee that particular aspect.

10/10, thanks FrozenFire
