Additionally, I think you should add a backup judge or two and make 4 main judges.

And again, I would say judges should get 2 weeks only in round 1, 1 week in round 2 and 4 days in rounds 3+4, cause if I'm right, the last tournament fell apart because of judging. If they don't finish judging in that time, somebody replaces them in the future rounds. Good idea? Bad idea?

WHAT 4 days! I'LL NEVER MAKE IT. Unless it's on the weekends. That'll be no problem.

sigh... I don't know how much time I'll give for judging now, but I want the duels themselves to last between 7 and 10 days. I want this to be fast-paced.

2 backup judges will most likely be needed only for round one. Each round will have the same number for dueling and judging. Round one should be 1 week and judging the next week. After that round 2 should be 5 days with 5 days of judging. Round three should be 4 days with 4 days of judging. Same number of days for dueling as round three, but less days for judging. Agreed?
