The above post is what happens when you give me something called "life" and then force me to sap all my time and motivation towards it. I'm sorry for not telling you guys earlier, but I've gotten very little progress done simply due to a lack of motivation concerning the LD. If anyone else wants to help out with the recordings instead, be my guest.

The lesson learned here, kids, is that "not feeling like it" is a totally valid excuse to not follow up on commitments.
I know I sound pissy, but it's because I am. We are 7 months through the year, yet I can't get any writeups, videos or anything because people don't feel like it. At this rate it doesn't feel like we're gonna get it through the year, and that's frustrating, because I keep running around and filling all the blanks. When people say they're gonna do something, I expect for them to actually do it, not leave me shanghaied. Now I don't know when we're gonna finish because of your lack of motivation or Whatevs. It's not like I'm rushing you, or anyone else for that matter. It's been over a month since the list was ready, but no progress by anyone but myself seems to have been made.

And that's the problem, I just don't know what it is. Whenever I sit down and record something, I just get this feeling of dread that I have to be perfect while recording or else everything will go to ♥♥♥♥, which really doesn't encourage me to continue on, especially when some level consists of several parts within itself. When I'm playing SM63 I like to be casual, but while recording I have to become a completely different player. Because of that, recording certain stages has been absolute hell and have been slowing down the entire process. I understand it's a horrible excuse, if an excuse at all, but I've gotten almost sick of repeatedly going through stages in hopes of not dying.

If it helps to know, the reason I haven't finished the writeups is because I was worried about some stuff. :S

But I promise I will get them done when possible.

Just need to remember which file I pasted them into. Also have been busy and ill lately. So haven't been much on a computer recently. Bad excuse I know. You should get them today.

Could it be possible, using what you use to record, to just edit out any deaths you encounter? I think I've seen people do that before elsewhere, but it could make the flow seem awkward.
It's just a suggestion.

While that is indeed feasible, it's not only a major pain to cut out every screw-up you make, it takes up more hard drive space to spend 30 minutes clearing a level as opposed to completing it in one go.

As much as having a video to announce the results and comment on the levels is a great idea... At this rate, I would just prefer you just announce the results in a post like the previous years, because that was just fine. If you want to continue the video afterwards, feel free to do so, I would totally enjoy and watch it. I really appreciate the effort you put and want to put into this, but you can't just leave us hanging like that for half a year now.

I'm sorry if this sounds like ♥♥♥♥♥ or anything similar. I guess that could have been said earlier, not in July, but I was gone for two months so yeah.
