Okay, so what the title means is, discuss the whole LDC issue here. It seems to not fit in the 23rd LDC topic, right now that's for the, "HURRY UP AND JUDGE I WANT THE RESULTS" thing.

I say this whole thing is not necessary.

That's probably one of the reasons I don't join LDCs either. That, and because I'm not really motivated to make SM63 levels anymore. Heck, it's rare that I design an LL level. I've just got so much other stuff I'd rather be doing.

However, if there were an LL LDC, I might join it, depending on the theme.

@Zunar: Me too. Mostly because I work on that Chrono Harmony game. (It. Will. Be. Finished.)
But also, an idea would be to.... oh I don't know... Maybe....
Stop level series and only accept one level.

Well isn't this just grand.

I do feel the urge to join/place in every LDC, but at the same time, it IS a waste of time. I could be working on my 73-level series (or life), and not waste my efforts to fail placing in an LDC. It's "win" or "waste." The medals you get are, in fact, USELESS.

What is also unfair is that it seems that (as SuYo pointed out) nearly the same exact people always place/win. It makes the LDCs pointless to take part in, since you may almost be guaranteed to lose and, therefore, waste a month or two.

In fact, maybe if I place JUST ONCE, that'll be it for me.



My problem is the fact that I am highly dedicated to LDing.

So... I guess we're throwing out LDCs...
