Most Underrated Level Designers
Are there any LDers who deserve a bigger spotlight? (I know, I know, I copied it from the subtitle)
Okay, have you ever thought of there being a Level Designer who has big potential but not being that famous? There are a few, and now, you share with us, who are you top underrated level designers! Here are mine:
{i'm not 100% done my list and ideas are appreciated}
Karyete: To start off, this guy's levels are unique. There's just something about his levels that is different from others. Is it the way he makes short levels awesome, or the way he makes red coin or sliver star hunts awesome? Man, he makes it seem like it's actually a level from the REAL SM63 game. You're not going to see alot of LDers like him.
Harmless: Man, you gotta love how he makes his levels seem like Mario classical throwbacks. He makes them seem simple, and fun. Not going overboard with his graphics and giving his levels a nice touch of difficulty may not seem great for everyone, but for me, it's genius!
Triple J: Ever played his "Try This On For Size" levels, especially the 25x50 or 25x25 ones. If you have, it explains it all. Size doesn't affect the effort shown and made into those levels. And the best part is, they seem like a regular 250x250 level. Never judge a book by it's cover. This guy can make small levels seem big.
KABOOM: He placed 3rd in the 22ndLDC. So why is he here? 'Cause he's still not getting the respect he deserves. This guy's simple and classic levels are very fun. Just like Harmless, he doesn't go overboard with anything. Which is great. For me, the classics are the best.
1018peter: He's one of the uprising Level Designers in our generation. His efforts to make his levels both very fun and look good show. Keep it up!
yurimaster09: Just look at his 24thLDC entry. If you played it, it shows that he could be a creative designer. The way he designs and how he makes the fun and graphics both quality is both something you and I will probably not see much in this website.
So these are mine. I will updated them! GM out.

Oh you :3 I'm blushing
I think Triple J is getting recognised but his levels are truly awesome.
Also, my secret to making awesome short levels: My old computer was reaaaally slow and I couldn't make them that big :)

These are my opinions. Personally, I think KABOOM deserves more respect. You can post your opinions.

I think Kab is doing really good since 22nd LDC.
oh yeah, 1018peter. I don't really hear his name that often in combination with LDing but he starts to become better and better
oh yeah, small mistake in first post
"the respect me deserves" should be "he" : P Too lazy to edit and it's not ok to do so. Sadly. /me runs

Oh stoppit =^_^= NwerfEDIT: NOOOOO
Triple J: While he already has a lot of fame on the portal, I don't think many of us realize just how influential he is on SM63 level designing, having designed lots of innovative level concepts and discovering glitches and fixes that could potentially change the face of the level designer. There's a reason this guy is already a Level Mod.
Harmless: I haven't heard a lot from Harmless lately, but he has a lot of great and ambitious level concepts and can deliver on them very well.
1018peter: He's definitely one of the better portal designers, and you can tell he puts lots of effort into making his levels look good as well as play well. I'm surprised he hasn't won at least an LDC ribbon yet.
That's all I have for now, but I'm sure if I search I'll find many more.

Yays is me. :>
I agree with everything said here, so I agree with every said here, and I agree with everything said here, so I agree with everything said here, and I agree with everything said here, so I agree with everything said here... (OH MY GOD. I've created a grammatical paradox.)

I haven't really played most of the level from the users that are underrated, probably because only since a few months ago I have been playing every level that's posted, but from what I remember playing from Karyete in the past, I've really enjoyed the simplicity of his levels and how it seemed like something a casual player would be able to pick up and play.
Off-Topic:

Speaking of this, I've actually been meaning to ask you, Triple J, about what item you use for your spikes? As you may have seen in my LDC entry, I tried to use the heads of arrows as spikes, but the fire ended up showing through the arrows anyways even after re-layering the arrows. I tried to find something else but I couldn't, and since the LDC deadline was coming close I had to stick with arrows. What's your secret? :3
