And how exactly does motivation work here?

I've started many a level that quickly fizzles out, and the only ones I've managed to finish are practically doodles or sketches in themselves.

How DO you people all summon the effort to create your levels?

No freaking idea. I guess that when I really really REALLY like an idea, or if it is really original, the level just tend to be pretty easy and quick to make. If the idea is boring or long to make, I will most likely not do it or just a small part of it.

Sometimes I also like to add a Bloss at the end of my level because I love creating blosses, everyone love blosses, it's free points and it motivates me like hell. Or if a bloss is not planned, I tend to just add a great idea in my level and I can't wait to get to it and the level is made.

My motivations:

++ Almost all 2009 level "hits" as inspirations.
++ Winning a medal.
++ Good mood.
