I'm sure there'll be a WITBLO14, or 15, or 16 for that matter. Activity's going down atm, I know. But the 18th LDC didn't finish till around this time in 2012 either, and most of the WITBLO12 entries came later that year. I just think we should have more LDCs this year, as last year we only had 3 with huge breaks in between. Also I doubt activity will stay down forever. Maybe it's a matter of putting SM63 back on Newgrounds, or continuing with our task of inviting newer members to join.


MP3 EDIT: Also if MoD is reluctant to organise more years I might try it myself. xD Obviously that wouldn't be a long term solution, but ya know WITBLO is one of the things keeping the level designing scene alive.

I plan on seeing how this next LDC goes. If we go too long this year without activity it definitely doesn't make me comfortable with the scene's future. Already, we are three months in and aside from, say, Candy Coaster, I don't really see any WITBLO quality levels happening, and I've looked.

That having been said, the 2013 list will be revamped, and we will include what we can get from 2014. I plan on it being a list of 50, a nicer, rounder, more inclusive number. I reckon it'll be split proportionately through the lists. I'll get started on redrafting it.

My latest story, and one of my personal favorites. A girl bound in silence finds the words to say to her prospective girlfriend as they visit her religious father in a dusty town on the edge of Kansas, where the crows' migration south brings forth anchored memories, the path to resolution, and a new start.

Well we still have 26th LDC levels to be released publicly, but tbh my personal aim this year is to create 4 or more LDCs, since last year we only had 3.

Edit: Updated the list. There are few that it's killing me aren't placed higher (Garden in the Clouds, MMMMMMM) but we'll deal with that and adjust as we go.

Okay. So 2014 has gotten zero buzz. I wish we were allowed to host another SM63 LDC, but as it stands the 26th got little to no activity and no one has really been designing.

Okay. So 2014 has gotten zero buzz. I wish we were allowed to host another SM63 LDC, but as it stands the 26th got little to no activity and no one has really been designing. Part of me wants to just go now and get the two or three levels from 2014 that qualify but I'll likely eschew doing this for the fifth anniversary, and instead wait 2014 out in the hopes of something happening

I should go back and design levels,I found Supershroom to be a nice rising star,his activities around the Level Portal is really tempting me to get back from hiatus.

Maybe he will be the buzz we are waiting for...
