Migrating to LL is a perfectly valid reason to not design to SM63 anymore although it always saddens me to lose someone with a lot of talent from this scene. I dunno, I like the challenge of assembling a level tile by tile in the SM63 designer. Im oldschool that way I guess

I think you were a good designer. You're the only designer to win an RV for a 25q level that didn't even win the contest. I also still consider This Is War to be one of the most underrated levels ever

But yeah Nan, your style was actually really unique. Some of your platformers have an unique style no other level can match. You did your job. I'm really sad you are quitting SM63, but oh well. I agree SM63 is not as open as LL, and have no problem with you migrating to LL. I think everyone will end up doing it one time or another. Anyway, just hope you continue doing your great job with level designing in LL.

Oh right, I forgot...

I had two goals in SM63 to achieve before quitting. The first one was winning 1st place in an LDC, as I already mentioned.

The second one was to defeat Volkove in a duel. And truly earn MP3's love. lol old joke :3

...Just mentioning it. I dunno if I'll care to do it. If Volkove wants to do it, I guess I'll try.

I'll keep my faith for SM63 forever and as long as the LL designer is so terribly complicated and cryptic for beginners, it won't have any importance for me.

I personally think we should wait for the LL level designer to improve. And sorry, I did not work correctly on my phrase. By saying that, I meant everyone will end up also designing for LL sooner or later, not that people would quit SM63. It's still got plenty of fans for this to happen :)

Nonetheless before I ever make a LL level I rather do a huge SM63 levelseries project that takes years, with maybe 80 or even 100 levels or something...

Actually Nan, I'm a bit confused about you having such an ambitious goal and then suddenly losing all motivation. I wish you the best to reach your goals, no matter how ambitious they may be

Yuri told me a while ago that Volkove had actually quit SM63 himself a while ago. So I don't know if I'll be able to have this duel with him anyway. xD
