Okay, so hear me out. What if you put a big bully for example. And you place a shine sprite, putting an option in the bully for the shine sprite to appear! Any other enemy works too!

What do you guys think? I just thought maybe it would just change so many things!
Trust me when I do say this will be definitely great!

Could be great but ... is honestly not necessary. First, I really don't like most Big Bully fights because they always work after the scheme of pushing the bully from the platform step by step, which is honestly not that fun. The only cool Big Bully fight I can remember is the one from Nwolf's Bowser's Forgotten Castle, where you're on a platform with quicksand below so the bully can return after being pushed away, and you have to survive for a given time without falling into the quicksand.

Second, there are apparently many other great way to make bosses, and you're pretty familiar with them, so try to explore them further! You could e.g. put a teleportation switch on the block bosses' head that brings you into the exactly same room with the same boss two times, and after hitting it a third time you get the shine sprite.

I suppose, I just thought maybe if you defeat the big bully. It would trigger the shine sprite to come.
But I suppose that works too...

Ya can't do that cleanly, but for block bosses, if you defeat them via switch somehow (maybe have the bully on a block bridge) put a red coin on it and the shine on a separate platform and when you hit the switch the shine appears and the bully is dead.

I've always thought the best way to do this was the SMB bowser boss. Like putting the bully on the bridge and you press the button and he dies and there's a door guarding the shine sprite and you press the switch at the end of the bridge and you get the shine sprite. :/
