Hmm, the whole point of having judges in the first place is to have an overall, varied opinion, in which there is no right and wrong, just different perspectives and different point of views, as we are all human, and we all function differently. If everyone was to judge exactly the same and have the same opinions, what would it actually achieve? It would destroy the purpose and be extremely non-individualistic.

So, to make everyone happy, I guess we can come to this final agreement:

Judges continue to judge normally, no pressure. However, before the host of the LDC posts the results, he checks all the scores for all levels from all judges. If any seems off, the host tries to find any explanation in the review. If the host clearly isn't satisfied, he has the right to ask the judge to either reconsider his score or give further justifications. If the host isn't sure what to do with the score, he could always ask any judge(s) that is currently online for advice.

Would that sound like a good compromise?

I'd also add that the host recalculates the scores himself/herself too, to stop any miscalculations being found after the results. But other than that, I think everything would be in order if we did that and it would be totally painless.

also lel MP3 I've always thought of writing an ironic joke "oh yeah but just wait until the scores are recalculated" the next time I would place

Alright, so we've reached a consensus then?

An official discussion is not necessary, but a review of all of the judges' reviews and scores might be. That's what I'm getting out of this.

If so, thank the lawd geebus
