Multi-Man SM63 Level Collab
We've all seen collab levels before- two people decide to make one map, and the famous saying "Two heads are better than one" comes to mind. More often than not, the end product is spectacular. After all, you've got two users combining their ideas and critiquing the level instead of just one. Well, that got me thinking. How great would it be if four people all cooperated to make a single level? What about eight? Twenty-four? Ok, so maybe that last one was a bit over the top, but if two heads are great, imagine what would happen by doubling that number. *epicness ensues*
So here's the plan. We'll host a tryout of sorts on this thread. Anyone interested should submit a sample of their work (it doesn't have to be long, but should be free of cutoff, etc.) below and the top users will be in. After that, we'll split up into categories: one person works on tile placement, another works on enemy/item placement, that kind of thing. If we get more than four people, we'll either make more categories to work on, or have two-three people on a team. The key point here is equality. Everyone's opinion is important and should be respected, even if you disagree. The people selected will be part of a larger team, and will be expected to remember that, or consequences (like being kicked or replaced) will be administered.
I think this would be a great experience for the entire site, not just for those participating. You'll get to know everyone a lot better (just try working with somebody without learning a thing or two about them; it just can't be done), and even the people who don't participate will be able to offer suggestions, critisism, and be awestruck by the end result.
Speaking of the end result, here's what it looks like so far. If you've got any feedback to give, drop a post below.

The deadline for the submission period is now officially over. Apologies to anyone who wanted to participate but couldn't, you can still offer advice and suggestions though.
