And by the way..when you get the wing cap and rocket and then press down...DON'T DO THAT! I die everytime. Just use rocket..quickly switch to turbo...do turbo and then press down....cause you are already there..just need to go up.

Do you know how to control the Wing cap? If you don't that's really not my problem. At the peak, 3.14, press down, and keep driving up and down, and still, you should make it if you don't go too far up or down. Basically, i you don't know, use UP and DOWN to steer.

Got it done myself. Anyways back on topic, I think the part where you go back from the Turbo Fludd is hardest cause of the invisibility...Did you include that it's best to zoom out there cause you see what's goin on?

Well, you don't need to, since the walkthrough itself tells you what's ahead..but OK.

EDIT: Fixed with the bit of it, so 3.14 is happeh! Well, I only added it mainly because it is true. Wait you got the sunflower seed out? Good. Go buy a new keyboard for damages cannot be repaired on it.. Jk..

I kind of imagined edge of mushroom kingdom to be....larger...like I thought it would be a test of all the elements...turbo, hover, rocket, all the enemies, water, lava, air..etc....

And there is a hidden goomba on top of the metal cage containing the rocket fludd. I got me a few times before I realized that something was there. And if you break the two blocks..it's fine just triple jump.

Well, I went ahead and tested it out for myself, and got these results: (Clickage for enlargement, pleez.)
sm63.JPG

(Yes, I know, no life, shuddup.)

I conducted a trial in a 50 x 30 grid where I rocket boost and hold x while holding right, and another where I rocket boost and mash x while holding right. For each trial, I gave a running start before rocketing, shown be the pink arrow, for maximum distance. The blue circle shows where I landed holding x, and the red circle shows where I landed (or rather, hit) mashing x. When holding x, Mario travels a distance of about 40 tiles, and when mashing x, Mario travels more than 50 tiles. Mashing x brings Mario more than 10 tiles farther than holding x; he travels more than 25% farther. (Which is, well, quite a bit.)

The thing is, I think, while Mario is spinning, his rate of falling increases until he reaches a certain speed. If you hit x repeatedly, however, this rate of falling is reset periodically. This gives Mario more of the slower rate of falling at the beginning of his spins, giving him a lower average downwards velocity, while retaining the horizontal velocity.

Man, I'm taking this way too seriously. <_< TLDR: Mashing x is better than holding x.

Well, actually, yeah, I was kind of loosely following the scientific lab report format which I've used many times in school, hehe. Hence, the "I'm taking this way too seriously." And video game scientist? Yeah, this is a clear indication that I have no life whatsoever. <_<
I'm still lacking an abstract and conclusion, though. : D
