Well, many, like myself, had stuggled with Edge of Mushroom Kingdom, well, now here is a Walkthrough..

NOTE: Requires 63 Shine Sprites, it does not matter about Star Coins, go into the cannon, shoot onto the roof, go onto the tower, and into the Sling Star. Repeatedly press X until you get the Wing Cap. press the Down Arrow, and fly to the far right. If you cannot reach the right area, use the cannon, and just fire with C at the default angle it points at.

BEGINNING!

When you start, there will be 3 green platforms. Jump across these to the other side, and keep going. Be careful, these fall down, and the flying Shuy Guy helps if you jump on him! Next, there will be 2 spinning platforms with a flying Koopa Troopa, which, if you jump on while holding X, will help you onto the grass nearby. Once you see a Rocket FLUDD encased in Wire Mesh, go to the right. Jump onto the platform. NOTE: Do not, DO NOT break the boxes, you need them! Jump on one box, by jumping in place 2 times, and then holding the Right Arrow, and destroy the enemy by jumping on it. There is a tall Wire Mesh in a vertical line, but don't bother, just go on to the right onto a green elevator platform, which moves up and down, also, jump on the Koopa Troopa. Jumping onto the two Wire Mesh boxes, continue on, and time your jumps so you don't fall and die! Now, jump onto the circling platforms, be careful of the flying Shuy Guy. Go across the two Mesh Wire screens, and go onto a falling
log(s) platform(s). Go onto the grass, and kill the flying Koopa Troopa and Bomb-Omb. Jump into the Invisible Cap, and get Turbo FLUDD, and back into the Invisible Cap for wasting a few seconds.. Now, BE CAREFUL! You can choose if you wish to zoom out with - to see what's ahead..tha's your decision, not mine. Jump onto the falling log(s) platform again, and jump 2 times, and to the left, holding X. Land on the circling platform you land on, jump 2 times, and spin onto the elevator green platform again*, jump 2 times, and land on the box. Try to get to the left box too, and make sure you get back onto solid land. When you go through the Wire Mesh, you'll fall down, and obtain Rocket FLUDD. Rocket out, and onto the grass.

Stand on the Wire Mesh, and hold C, and rocket onto some clouds. On the main cloud, still with Rocket FLUDD, hold C, and make sure you hold onto the right arrow key. There will be Penguins that fly, and Flying Shy Guys. When you are near the Wing Cap power-up, you will see a Flying Koopa Troopa. Stomp on it (not with Z) and grab the Wing Cap. Since Rocket FLUDD's water meter is full*, hold C, and try to get back to the main centre cloud. Climb onto a cloud above, and hold C, at the peak of you ascend, press the Down Arrow. You will fly. Use Up/Down Arrows to fly through the air, and grab the Star Coin. Fly onto the cloud. Disable the Boomb-Omb, grab the Hover FLUDD, and climb the clouds to the next screen.

CLIMAX:
You will appear on clouds. Don't bother with Hover FLUDD. Hover over the coins, and onto a swinging platform. Switch to Rocket FLUDD with SHIFT. Jump off the platform as it is fully to the right, and hold C, and get onto the second. On the second, homing Bullet Bills will come at you, just hold X to destroy them. Repeat again, Jump, and hold Right Arrow, and hold C. You will see blue platforms, and Penguins, which fly. Jump off, and rocket up, if you touch the fire, it's OK, just hold Left Arrow. When you stop holding your buttox, the sceen will show bricks, and go into the hole nearby. Fire will shoot up at you, so, be careful! Run past the fire as it dissappears. ( Four flying Koopa Troopa's will block you, hold X and kill 'em.) Keep doing this, as you pass fire, and you will get to some Bullet Bills and fire spewing, almost everywhere! Use X when the Bullet Bills come at you, and run past dissappearing fire. Go up onto the Boney Bridge. Kill the Shy Guy, and disable the Bomb-Omb.

Soon, you encounter a Heart, and use X to recover quickly. Be careful, flames come out of the ground! Go through this narrow passage on the right, and press SHIFT until you get Hover FLUDD. Use it when flames on the next floor appear, so you don't get burnt. Go left, and spinning platforms will guide you out. Bullet Bills are there on the far left, homing in on you to stop you! Hover at the peak after jumping, on the spinning platform you stand on above the Bullet Bill launchers. Only the near gold one does, and one you cannot see. FREEDOM! Hover up, and kill the Shy Guy. Go right, and be careful and sneaky. Some flying Koopa Troopa's will appear nearby, and a few Goombas. Don't give up! Just because flames are near, doesn't mean, "I'M GONNA DIE!". Ignore the enemies, and go right, those flames won't do anything. Now, the very somewhat tricky part: The Swinging Log of Doom! If you go too far on the left, BURN! Or, too far to the right, BURN! Or plain unlucky, BURN! But, by the end it's OK! (If you have full health) You will land, still holding your butt, and go through the passage.*

FINAL:

Whew, close, right? Now, flying Penguins will block you, and there will be flying Shuy Guys, however, use SHIFT, and switch to Rocket FLUDD. Ready? 3--2--1--LIFTOFF! Go and hold X and Right Arrow! Luckily enough, you land on the Tower of Shine Sprite Ultima! Well, what are you waiting for? Use SHIFT to switch to Hover FLUDD. and jump 2 times, and hold C, and avoid the rediculous spinning clockworks. Or, just use Rocket FLUDD!

This was MY way of the Walkthrough, as I did these exactly. I'm sure I did not miss anything, and so, you may comment on my Walkthrough!

*1) When you stomp on a Penguin or flying Penguin, you water usage meter is refilled, not Water Tank.

*2) While holding X, even if the elevator is all the way up, I got nervous myself I would fall dead, but the platform came down, and I was safe!

*3) Fourinnone has informed me, you can use Turbo FLUDD instead, but if you'd like, go and burn yourself.

End of Walkthrough! :D

Whew, nice walkthrough! I have a few things to add, though:

It's actually better to mash x instead of holding x, but I doubt it makes much of a difference if you were able to beat the level that way.

You can pass through the SWINGING LOG OF DOOM!!! unscathed by using the Turbo FLUDD. Yay!

Well, the mashing X, that doesn't work as efficient as holding it, since you glide. You need that for using the Rocket FLUDD. I'll add in the Turbo FLUDD note.

Well, I went ahead and tested it out for myself, and got these results: (Clickage for enlargement, pleez.)

(Yes, I know, no life, shuddup.)

I conducted a trial in a 50 x 30 grid where I rocket boost and hold x while holding right, and another where I rocket boost and mash x while holding right. For each trial, I gave a running start before rocketing, shown be the pink arrow, for maximum distance. The blue circle shows where I landed holding x, and the red circle shows where I landed (or rather, hit) mashing x. When holding x, Mario travels a distance of about 40 tiles, and when mashing x, Mario travels more than 50 tiles. Mashing x brings Mario more than 10 tiles farther than holding x; he travels more than 25% farther. (Which is, well, quite a bit.)

The thing is, I think, while Mario is spinning, his rate of falling increases until he reaches a certain speed. If you hit x repeatedly, however, this rate of falling is reset periodically. This gives Mario more of the slower rate of falling at the beginning of his spins, giving him a lower average downwards velocity, while retaining the horizontal velocity.

Man, I'm taking this way too seriously. <_< TLDR: Mashing x is better than holding x.
