I'll put this in the right topic this time....
Posted: July 16th, 2012, 8:19 amI made a list a while of things I wanted in SM63. Well it was rediculous. I didn't even know what I was thinking when I suggested them. So I decided to make a post of better, more toned down suggestions.
Bosses that trigger stars
I have watched my friends play my levels and skip the boss to get to the star. I put a LOT of work into my boss fights, especially my most recent one, Paladin's Tale: Boss Lair 1. A boss that triggers the appearance of a shine sprites would be really nice. You could even link a boss to a specific Shine.
More Bosses!
The only enemy I have been able to use as a boss is the Big Bully. I have gotten creative with it, and it was nearly impossible in Paladin's Tale: Boss Lair 1 (and had an amazing soundtrack too), but it would be nice to have more bosses. Any bosses. I don't care. We need dem bosses.
Improved Sprites
This is probably a wish that won't be fulfilled, but it's worth a shot. The sprites for SM63 are okay, but could be better. Sprites from other, newer games could be used. I also noticed that when Mario jumps, his arm turns naked. Try it and look at his arm. I'm serious!
Custom Music
We all know how annoying it is to try to get people to listen to that awesome song that goes with your level. Some people don't read the description and miss out on the song. Sure the song will have to be inspected first, but the music can really enhance your gaming experience. I base every level I make on the song I am listening to (which can be inconvenient at times).
More Characters
I asked this in my last suggestion post, but the way I put it was awful. What I'm trying to say is, why not have nore characters other than Mario? We have Luigi as an unlockable charater, why not Yoshi? Or Wario? Why not include non-Mario characters like Kirby, Pikachu, Sonic, or Link (Yeah, Link may not work... I just needed something to put there).
