SM63 Game Progress Glitch-Reset!!

I collected 20+ Shines and Star Coins.And now,they are all gone!!
Now I have to do it again!!
I used the newest version(the one where they have flames and thwomps in the level designer).
Runouw,please prevent this from happening again or else it will affect other players as well.

Were you playing the downloadable version or the online version?
If you are playing the online version and you clear your cookies, you'll lose your progress. Runouw can't do anything about that.

I believe the downloadable version is also linked to your cookies, so deleting your cookies affects the downloaded version too. Although I'm not 100% sure.
If this keeps happening, just type "cheat" (without the quotes) on the title screen (with Story, Options, and Extras), turn on Toggle Shine Sprites on Star Map, and then start a new game. When the game starts, pause, open up the Star Map, and click the Shine Sprites (and Star Coins) you had before you lost your progress. That, or just don't delete your cookies.
