Super Mario 63 glitch

On the first tutorial in super mario 63 there is a glitch were if i enter another area of the tutorial the cam will glitch up so i can't see mario then he fall down in a endless pit and fall literally forever. I can't exit the level and when i refresh the page it still happens. What caused the glitch and how do i avoid it?

i think you are playing an early version of Sm63. That happened to me too in that version. You should play the current version (with level designer and flames) here.

That happened to me a couple of times, though in the LD not the game, and only if from long falls.
