Let's Play: Super Mario 63

I remember seeing someone's Let's Play of this wonderful flash game, but wasn't quite sold on it's professionalism. I thought I may as well try my own hand at it.

The idea came to me a long time ago, but I was hindered by the inability to record flash games on FRAPS without recording an entire webpage, and Camstudio often gives me less than ideal video quality, FPS, and desync. Only a very recent google search gave me a way.

https://frapsforum.com/threads/recordin ... fraps.961/ (Shush, I had original idea like 2 years ago and didn't think to look into it too much)

With this, I can resize the game to roughly 720p (My monitor is not big enough for 1080) and have exceptional FPS.

Unfortunately, there's no microphone in this video because I forgot to set my audio accordingly.

I don't really need any support to follow through with this later this month, but hey, it helps drive the LPer or something, right? Videos would probably round to roughly 10 minutes each, and this video took maybe 4ish hours to render. Not bad at all considering I keep my PC on at practically all times anyway.

It's been a long time goal to LP the best fan-made levels of this game but I've never thought to actually LP the game itself.

Good luck!

Hmm, when we were told that time that SM63 was going to be taken down by Nintendo, I actually recorded all the levels from the original game and saved them. I still have them now. The only one I have left to do is Edge of the Mushroom Kingdom, but I didn't do it because for some reason when I saved the second part of Rainbow Road and saved the silver star cave in Tall Tall Mountain, I used colons in the name, so now the file broke and I would have to record them again. On the version I was using though, the shine sprites wouldn't show up as anything but blue because I've already taken them, so I would probably have to start a new file, which I'm afraid is just too much effort. :P
