Hello there, I recently just downloaded this old gem (I played it and completed it 100% on my old PC) but the thing is I recently redownloaded it and I simply cannot be bothered to replay through the entirety of the gamer. I mainly just want to mess around with the level editor, and I attempt to achieve this by using CheatEngine to modify the amount of stars I have. Put simply: What is the value of the star coins in the game? I tried doing a numerical search for the amount I have but that didn't work, so could someone please assist me?

It's not necessary to hack the game or change anything in the code.

Just type "cheat" in the title screen and the Cheat menu will appear. Toggle the "Unlock Everything" and "Toggle Shine Sprites" option, and create a new game file.

Afterwards, while in game, pause it, and in the screen where it shows your Shine Sprites and Star Coins, just click on them all to activate.

... but notice that if you go to the portal and click "Play level!" to pop up a separate designer, and you work on there, all signs will be ♥♥♥♥ up.

So use the standalone designer with the link above and click "Reset Course" if it doesn't respond at first. That's the safe way.
