Whoa, jeez, four year bump, BUT STUFF HAPPENED!
First off, this
little joke (that was supposed to be an april fools, but was late) came out in 2010.
Then, in 2012, Alvin Earthworm
stopped working on SMBZ, and released
this which was what he had so far of Episode 9.
So then, late last year, suddenly
this popped up, with Alvin saying he's starting work on sprite animation again! And it came with
this preview of a remade episode 1!
So we won't get a full episode 9 in a while, but we could be getting (hopefully, as this isn't full confirmation) a rebooted series. He mentioned in his post that there will be things changed from the originals, so it will be different than what we already have in more ways than just a visual makeover.
Am I the only one excited about this? Or are sprite movies a thing of the past?
(also this thread was really hard to find. Searching anything that contains "Super Mario Bros." on Runouw brings up, like, every single post ever.)
