I can't even begin to explain how much posts like this irritate me. No offense, Master.
Anyways.
The LD is actually really good for its time, especially for a game made in Flash. Many people who have played Super Mario 63 may not even bother to glance at this, but the truth is they shouldn't actually be compared; SMF is well-known for its simplicity and its strong roots heading back to the original SMB, while SM63 is known for its highly-advanced game engine, the fact that it pulls elements from many different Mario games, and its rather complex level designer. It was also extremely popular if I remember correctly; not too sure how that popularity is holding up, though.
Yeah, I actually loved the level designer. I wasn't really the one to make levels for the game (I made a few, though); I was the one to jump in to other user's levels, and the game engine made it really easy to do that.
