I bet some of you are wondering why I wasn't, am not, and won't be around much in the past and next few days. Well, the answer is because "I'M PLAYING MARDEK RPG 3!".
As a lot of you unfortunate souls seem not to know, the highly anticipated third chapter of the popular MARDEK series is finally released! Why should you play it? MARDEK is a turn-based RPG reminiscent of the pixelated RPGs of olde. The series as it exists boasts a whopping 40 (!) hours of gameplay, a deep, well-developed storyline, and an amazing, completely original soundtrack. Personally, this is one of my favorite flash games, right up there with Super Mario 63. I highly recommend it, especially to fans of old-school RPGs (such as the early Final Fantasy games). In fact, I believe MARDEK is comparable even to an official console RPG.
But enough advertising, go play the game and see for yourself! New players, I recommend that you start on chapter 1, as this series is heavily story-driven. (Also, don't be bogged down by the fact that you're two seemingly overpowered level 50 guys who seem to have no grasp on grammar. You'll understand soon enough. ; ) ) And to those who've already played the first two chapters, I recommend you start on chapter 1 as well, as they have been remade, and some bosses have been completely revamped.

In case you're wondering, the guy who made this game goes by the alias Pseudolonewolf, and lives on his little corner of the web know as Fig Hunter. Yes, just that one guy. Yes, he made EVERYTHING. Even the music. Oh yes. Bow down before him, mortals, for he arte greater than thou. Oh, and join his site if you see fit! Answer the poll! He has plenty of other games which are of the same quality as MARDEK. Be warned, however; Pseudolonewolf tolerates no inane nonsense, so be on your best behaviour, lest you want to be smitten.
Feel free to post any MARDEK-related thoughts, questions, and tips here!
