I'm really not surprised. This seems pretty close to man's inner nature. Pursuit of money and power. Make something like game maker or anything else, and you will be in pursuit of money and power, which to them would translate to happiness. Mankind never learns from mistakes. That is how societies crumble. And that is how Game Maker will crumble as well.

Do too this mismanagement, I shall NOT upgrade to 8.1, as this is now just getting insane. I hope that it will get me through to finishing Zed98: Beyond The Day.

Nah, don't worry. Game Maker still works, But I discovered it's bull compared to Stencyl.

stencyl has a few advantages over GM8.
the physics are awesome,
takes little RAM playing the game
nicer interface
less of a watermark
compatible with more systems

GM8 has only 2 advantages.
3D effects
it's not made with java, so making the game takes less RAM, unlike stencyl that takes 90% RAM usage if 5 minutes.

personally i prefer stencyl :3

Once i sent an email to yoyogames.com and i told them that i want GM to make swf files.... they didn't even care about my pm...they just told me to download gm8.1 >:O
