OK, here's my unprofessional opinion on both games.

8-BIT GRAPPLE:
This is pretty good, but did you have to make the character move with the mouse? And the extra cursor doesn't have any point, since the main cursor is still there.

Also I can't get past the second level, I can't grapple onto the ceiling or jump or anything D:

WHEN PIGS FLY:

I couldn't get past Suyo though, I did make it through a few times but I only had one life/pig so Blab destroyed me. This may have something to do with trying to eat a poptart, while using the touch pad instead of a mouse.

Nope, I started it all on Saturday, but I had the idea floating around and had written code for a similar game before.

Also yeah, now that I look back, I probably made the Suyo section too long, but oh well. :< It gets easier when you get his pattern down, though.

Well, it's kind of annoying trying to point to the pale yellow blocks when the character moves with the cursor. As soon as you point to it, the character moves to the right and is promptly blocked by the wall.

thats why you click as fast as possibru. i also gave the player a 32px space for where he doesn't move, allowing sniping

Keep the cursor close to the character and start testing angles.

@foru, found my mouse. Beat your game. Sir you get 10/10 seriously it's the best GM game I've played so far. Actually it's the best free game I've played in a while (yeah I don't get on newgrounds much anymore )

Also just wandering, towards the end of the final boss battle he through out an endless stream of eggs in which I quickly got full lives and powerups, enough to keep the stream at bay and still do a lot of damage to him. Is this because I did enough damage to him that he resorted to a endless stream, or did i just get lucky and kill him before the stream was over?

And you got it: it's the former. He'll do one barrage of eggs at 2/3 health, another at 1/3 health, and then an endless one at the end until you beat him.

EDIT: Noticed and fixed a bug where some pigs turn invisible if you collect bacon right after getting hit. Not gamebreaking, though, so no need to redownload unless you want to.

OK, now I'm on Winsuck (D:), so I can review your game, Foru.

Well, for a start, I'm impressed. You started this on Saturday, and right now it's Thursday, and that's a short period to make such a challenging, balanced game. This really satisfies me and my thirst for danmaku games.

The bosses are real good, and the starting screen has humor. Also, TIN CRAB TIN CRAB BOXING GLOVE CHAIN.

I've gotten up to Suyo so far. Yay.

Actually if Suyo doesn't end this contest soon I might have my game done by tomorrow (I'm about 75-80% done). But I have church so I won't be home till 2-ish.
