How to make an RPG?!

Can anyone give me a step by step guide on making an rpg?

learn a programming language. here's a few hints:
DO NOT USE GAMEMAKER 8(recommended not to use anything similar either)
i recommend something object oriented like ActionScript 3 or C++.
or you could also use LUA.
After that, find a good library:
for AS3 try flashpunk or flixel.
a good one for LUA is LOVE2D
use google to find others.
try out that programming language and get used to it, and then when you get used to it try to make more complex projects.
At first try making a simple game of pong or even the 'Hello World!' test that most people start out with.
If you can't even do that then try something else. If all else fails, don't even try programming. Instead, try finding other skills you have, like music sequencing or art. Then join with a person who can program things and start an indie group.

Well... I make my games on MyGameBuilder. It's not bad, and I can't download stuff in the computer.. I just need help on planning an RPG.

Oh, planning. Lol.

Well, first, you should storyboard your story with certain important events. During this part, you can name places and their characteristics, characters and their specialties, and important plot triggers, like a magic jewel or an ancient spell or book.

Once that's done, you can make your character stats and the world map. I don't know what you can do with MyGameBuilder (if you can edit the growth of a certain character's stats or if you can use EXP at all, giving people weapons and spells at certain times, MP, HP) so you might only be able to make character design and maps.

Then, all you have to do is follow your storyboard and add enemies that fit. Don't forget to playtest. Difficulty should flow well. Maybe a spike near the climax of the story, but not too big of a spike.

Anyways, if you do get to using lua with löve2d, I can probably help you get through with that, though I'm not quite an expert at the language.

All in a few clicks.
Also, you can port your games to iOS. Isn't that sweet?

You can also use RPG Toolkit. It's a good program for making RPGs, but if you can't download anything onto your computer, you pretty much can't do anything in terms of game making.
