Final Fantasy (1-5) Style Coding?

Postby RokStar9001 » December 13th, 2012, 7:17 pm

I really want to try to make a turn-based RPG flash game like the original Final Fantasy series. If I make the sprites (for me, not a difficult task), can anyone recommend a program that would work?
My Levels (In Progress): show
Super Mario 63 RPG Masterquest (Series) (Discontinued)
Corrupted Fire Shrine
An NES Tribute Level

Yes I know my sigbar is small. Got a problem? Look down from your keyboard. Same size, amirite?

RPG Maker VX Ace.
Or RPG Maker VX.

I'm not a coder, but people make scripts for that type of stuff, and, with enough practice, you can probably custom code events and such.
