Calling all game designers!
There is a Discord channel for this. If you want to keep up to date, discuss ideas, and show your contributions, go there.
Title's a little misleading, basically this is to anybody who's interested in making a game.
I've been thinking about this idea for a while, and I've decided to give it a shot. I'm not confident about many things, but I'm confident when I say this: everyone in this little community of ours is talented, in one way or another. We like to make and discuss artwork, music, stories...maybe we could put our talents together and create a game. A proper, professional game.
Now, this isn't aimed at everybody. What I'm aiming for (at least) is to have a small group of people with some experience in game designing, or something related to that. And when I say 'related', I mean anybody who can draw, sprite, hell even create good characters and a storyline. For communication, we've got Discord, which is easily accessible to everyone and most people here are already familiar with it, so we can discuss ideas and help each other out.
I'm honestly not sure how popular this idea will be, but if you're willing to help in any way, and you think you'll have a little bit of time to spare, please say so. Obviously it'll be helpful if you list what you think your strengths will be, and also if you have any programs that will be useful. Ideally, these are the main things that'll be needed, and will probably require some software:
I've recently purchased a copy of MMM 2016, so that's one person already who can work on the soundtrack. Let's make this happen!

- Artwork (This could be concept art or sprite work, for any component of the game)
- Sound (Read: the soundtrack)
- Animation (Animating the characters, aesthetics, and whatever else we'll need)
- The game itself (Basically putting everything together)
