I'm actually looking forward to this more than I was looking forward to SMB2 (too easy and too short for me but still great none the less) just hoping it's going to be mac compatible

Also, if you need any background music from the original two, just ask me, I've ripped them all (well, most of them)

I can't believe I haven't noticed this topic yet. ;_; I like the concept, and the planned gameplay.
I'll be willing to do some custom sprites for you, like the New Suits. Just answer a few questions.

Are the new suits going to be obtained by the classic flower and mushroom powerups like in the first two games?
For the bullet bill suit, do you automatically start flying once you get the item, or do you have the choice to start flying by; spinning in the air, triple jumping etc.
For lightning Mario, does Mario pause for a split second to strike lightning, or can he do it while he's occupied with something else like jumping or running?
