Stuff you watched as a child

Postby Bogdan » August 21st, 2014, 11:11 am

I've watched a lot of stuff as a child, but unfortunatelly when all the cool shows were around I didn't know english and took a while for them to get translated, some of them weren't at all. However it took me time to find all those titles again, but I would watch again:
  • Ozzy & Drix (seriously, unlike others I preffer this over ♥♥♥♥ cartoons such as KND or related, it made me be more careful with my health, even if was just a cartoon)
  • Justice League (got translated after a while, but disappeared shortly)
  • Duel Masters (fortunatelly fully translated when I saw it.
  • Batman Beyond (really really few epsiodes were translated before it vanished)
  • Time Squad (same as above)
  • Megas XLR (fully translated, but never viewed all episodes)
  • Transformers (viewed two cartoons or so, although not sure which were which, so I guess I have to pick Cybertron, Energon and Armanda togheter)
  • X-Men evolution (few episodes, at least translated)
  • Xiaolin Showdown (almost full serie - translated)

Dexter's Laboratory, Spongebob Squarepants, the Pokémon anime, and Fairly Oddparents are just some of the ones I can recall off the top of my head.

Long list: show
Spongebob Squarepants (take a guess)
Powerpuff Girls (dunno why I watched it so much, but probably wouldn't re-watch)
Ed, Edd n' Eddy (hard to say, but maybe would re-watch some)
Pokemon (nah)
Dexter's Laboratory (would totally re-watch)
The Fairly Oddparents (maybe)
My Life as a Teenage Robot (y did i wach dat)
Time Squad (hard to say; remember it vaguely)
Samurai Jack (dunno, but wish the story was finished; heard it was cut short or something)
Winnie the Pooh (I cannot believe how much I watched it. Why would I?)
Chalkzone (the time I watched it was fun. Not sure about re-watching it, though)
Oh Yeah! (hard to say)
Kablam! (hard to say)
Doug (meh. It was boring as a kid)
CatDog (meh. Didn't like it as a kid, but ended up watching it enough to consider it valid to list here)
Digimon (ugh, no. I will never re-watch this)
Rocket Power (unsure)
Hey Arnold! (hey, Arnold! I might watch you again)
Courage the Cowardly Dog (omg, yes. I would definitely re-watch this)
Johnny Bravo (unsure)
The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (unsure)
Rugrats (loved it as a child, though I'm not sure about re-watching it)

EDIT: Forgot a couple...
Danny Phantom (I don't remember it well enough to decide whether I'd watch it again, but meh)
Life of Loopy (a little weird of a show... meh)
Angry Beavers (unsure; wasn't too fond of it as a child)

EDIT: Added a couple shows that weren't on the top of my head at the time of this post.

Oh my god, someone acknowledged this :D I think the new season has aired, it's called Xiaolinn Chronicles now.
  • Dexters Lab - would so rewatch
  • Power-Puff Girls - I feel like TripleJ over here (aka. dunno why I watch this), but would so rewatch
  • Duel Masters - I watched it for a while and enjoyed it, though I'm unsure of re-watching it because it's probably gonna be a disappointment
  • Naruto - no. God no. I will not make a giant rant here, but just no.
  • Foster's Home for Imaginary friends - this show was amazing, I cannot imagine my life without referencing this all the time :D
  • Shaman King - I really like this Anime, I'd definately re-watch this
  • Pokemon - unless It's translated somewhere on the interwebs, no. I could only find 25 eps of the 1st season
  • Xiaolin Showdown - amazing, totally would rewatch
  • Sonic X - unsure if I'd rewatch, I liked it, but I hear bad things about it xd Kinda wanna rewatch it just to confirm if it's bad
  • Ed, Edd and Eddy - no, it was so utterly stupid, I don't understand what people like about it. Unless I'm missing something, it's crap
  • Nascar Racers - unsure if I'd rewatch it, I remember it had some crazy plot and ridiculous races where cars could turn into planes, so maybe
  • Oban Star-Racers (?) - I remember gradually disliking this as the series went on, but I'm actually quite curious as to what exactly I disliked. I might rewatch.
  • Galactic Football - Again, like nascar racers, it had some ridiculous plot and crazy matches, kinda intriguing. Maybe I'll rewatch it, but probs not.
  • Kuba Guzik (or Jack Button in English) - A show about a kid and a Locomotive Driver who leave their island to go on many adventures and rescue a princess from a dragon. It was clearly a kids show, but the plot was so... full of child-like wonder that I kinda want to see what it was about
  • Samurai Jack - Didn't watch too much of it (since it aired late at night), but the plot was intriguing to me.
  • Totally Spies - Why did I watch this

Third that. I never actually finished it, though. :O

I also want to include Martin Mystery into my list. Got addicted to it years ago.
