IGN presents: The best (and worst) video game movies ever!

So, we all know video game movies are largely infamous for their pitiful portrayal of the game. Some of these movies have fallen flat on their head at Box Office as well. Nonetheless, Hollywood has seen some success in their attempts to recreate some of the most well-known video games of all time. Below is a list, composed by IGN, of the successes and failures of video game movies (and as far as reviews go, nothing did exceptionally well). Everything on the list is factual (besides the Movies That Should Be Videogames part). Tell me if anything surprises you.

Never seen any of those movies, but I have Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children ordered from Netflix. Anyone whose seen it, can you let me know if it's any good?

Seen it. Lots of flashy action, not a lot of good plot. Predictable. Pointless. Unnecessary. But it looked nice.
