I... I... My life is changed.
So. Today. For two hours. I watched. Vocaloid. Hatsune Miku. Ren. Riku. Luka. Omfg it was... Omfg. Words cannot... Oh my god.
I think the video is nothing compared to what I experienced. Hundreds of fans, in one room, all cheering for not just Hatsune Miku, but their own hard work, and yes, it was THEIR own work. The entire audience, was like... In sync, and it just seemed as if everyone connected with the show. It was fantastic. The thing that really bugged me out was that, even though I was on the third floor, I felt like Miku was specifically dancing towards me. Yes, I know it sounds narcissistic, but I'm saying, something about it made it seem like each individual person was important. Oh my gosh. The first time in America, and they did it. It was FANTASTIC. It was breathtaking. Glow sticks everywhere, all in unison, the fans were just completely awed. It was amazing.
The song choice was fantastic. New songs as well as older songs, and Miku had much more costumes this time than last time. It was an excellent choice, and she even added a medley in the middle. It was great. I just wanted to share my experience. I love this place. Anime Expo is definitely one of the best places I've ever been to. As I'm still on day one, I still have much to do, (each booth seems like it's wanting to snatch my wallet, with all it's merchandise,) and I plan to take many pictures.
I've gotten almost a hundred pictures now. I've found a few Puella Magi Madoka cosplayers, a LOT of Vocaloid cosplayers, and I've also been hunting for Touhou characters, which, while they aren't they BEST, I've found some. Anyways, more pictures, more adventures tomorrow, hopefully I'll get an album signed by Kalafina, but yeah, pictures will be up when I return on Monday!
