I rather enjoy the Ranger's Apprentice series as well! Err: Book 5 was Sorcerer of the North and Book 8 was the Kings of Clonmel

I think his writing as well as his story is very basic yet interesting, and his characters are nice and interesting. The only problem I really had with him was the fact that he was very fond of certain phrases, that it got annoying to a point. Such as the "Half a dozen" was used an unbearing amount of times.

But other than that, he does paint a rather good picture, yet leaving some up to the reader's imagination.

My personal favorite book series though, is the Ender's Shadow series. A very militarily thought out series that is still fascinating, and action packed. The mind of Bean is just so interesting, and seeing how he thinks things through is just insane.

I'm hardly a book reading guy but I guess I read a few comic books.

The first one that comes to mind is Bone. I've read almost all of them. I bought the prequel ''Rose'', read a few pages but never read it again. It's one of those things that are hard to get into. But when you do, it's epic. There is also a handbook and probably another book not really related to the series, more of a bunch off short stories with the characters. I keep telling myself to get back to it but I never can. Hell, knowing me, I probably lost it. I lose EVERYTHING.

I'm also currently reading Watchmen. Which is actually good book even though I'm not even half done reading it. I haven't read it in a while, surprise, surprise. But I really want to. Come to think of it, I haven't seen it in a while. It's really an extraordinary book even though I'm not that far in it. The animation and drawings are great and it pulls you in, too. Quite immersing.

But yeah, I lose everything. It sucks.

Oh how can I forget! The Outsiders! I read it for Language in Grade 8 near the end of the year. While others didn't like it that much, I thought it was an amazing book. It was written perfectly and the story just pulled me in with each word.

I'll also go with the Enders Shadows series. The plot is well thought out, the character development is amazing, and the descriptions are spectacular.
