Thanks for the comments guys!

Anyway, I finally got around to doing the next song on the album. String theory, anyone? 8-)

Yes, no?

So what's with the name? I'm a little confused how it matches with the piece of music itself... Anyway, another good piece of music. Great work. :D

SAVE MY TOPIC!!!

OK, so String Theory is the theory that the smallest known particles are made up of "strings." I would explain more except I'm too lazy (Wiki it if you want). So, it was merely a play on words - "String Theory," in reference to the bass and guitar instruments. String Theory is actually the most complicated out of all of my songs in terms of the bass and portions of the lead guitar, so I chose this song to name, "String Theory."

Anyhow, my next song (which if you ask me is one of my best) is complete minus the bass part. Sadly, my bass is currently in the shop getting a free setup that the store I bought it from offers within the first year of purchasing a guitar or bass, so I won't have it back till Thursday and probably won't get a chance to record the bass part until next weekend. I will warn you now Buff that there is singing, but I swear that I actually can sing in the key the song is in…my singing's way better than in my other two attempts. So yeah…get ready for some heavy distortion too, BTW…expect it next weekend.

Lol, I like how you warn me before you sing. Just wondering, do you have a microphone, MICROPHONE? (see what I did thar?) because sometimes, your voice seems drowned by the other instruments.

(I see what you did thar…very clever…)

Yes, I do have a microphone, and I sing into the microphone. I believe more than anything else that it's because of Tinypic's poor sound quality that you sometimes can't hear my voice…

Anyhow, my new song is finally posted! One of my personal favorites (though in certain instances the transitions between parts is a tad off; those with a musical ear will catch it), this one again features singing, but I swear that my singing is at least passable this time. So yeah, give it a go! :D

Good song, Mic!

My one concern- most of the songs sound a bit alike. It's hard for me to discern from memory.

Another thing- they're not overly memorable. I can't remember how any of your songs go from memory.

Sorry, if I was too harsh.

BTW Moving Up- AMAZING! CRUST ALMIGHTY THAT WAS AMAZING!

MOY, immediately after, wrote:Another

Anyhow, I'm a bit surprised about your first comment, since I really do try to do different types of songs; this new one was very rock oriented, for example, whereas songs like City Blues and String Theory were much more jazzy. And coincidentally, my next one is gonna be something new altogether (for me): a more reggae oriented blues tune, sort of in the vein of Eric Clapton's cover of I Shot the Sheriff.

The second one doesn't surprise me, cause many of the songs I do are not really "catchy" songs; many are more jam pieces and are not really mainstream, so it's hard to remember.

And OF COURSE YOU'RE TOO BLOODY HARSH!!! CAN'T YOU SEE THE ANGER IN MY EYES???

*pause*

Oh, wait, you can't see my eyes, can you? Darn…

EDIT: Just realized that MOY was talking about String Theory very belatedly…so this is all in response to that…probably more to come about Movin' Up…

Mic, I take back every thing I've ever said about you 5 minutes ago.

Movin' Up was... wow... everything about it was amazing, I could Imagine myself hearing it on the radio... I'd get it on I-tunes but I don't have I-tunes... Waaaa...

Movin Up was great But, I have one thing that bugs me. (not to be harsh but) You seem a bit under confident in your voice. Other than that it sounded like a profeccional song.
I'm Pretty sure I should put something here...
