I searched this forum and didn't find a topic on this amazing show and just wanted to know your thoughts on the episodes, story arcs, and the amazing twists and resolutions in the plots of each of the most recent episodes. You mean David Tennant, the Doctor whose actor got married to the actor that played his 'daughter' in episode 193- 'the Doctor's Daughter'? He was the doctor in the first episode I saw. But honestly, the best storylines for me so far have been in the recent season.

I love this show, and I just realized I haven't watched it in quite a while. Time to go watch an episode.

Nightmare in Silver
rough summary with spoilers: show They go to the biggest amusement park in the universe, which has been evacuated and abandoned.
Cyber men come back, they 'upgrade' the doctor, and th doctor and the planner play a game of chess for control of his brain. The doctor does win, but they get beamed off the planet with the emperor of 1000 galaxies, and blow it up.

Personally? Matt Smith is my fave doctor so far.
As much as I liked Christopher Eccleston, 1 series isn't really enough for me to call him my favourite. And with David Tennant he started off great but just got a bit too theatrical towards the end...I mean, his last line was "I don't wanna gooo!" with tears in his eyes, I mean sorry but.. no.
Which series did you guys like the most? I loved the one with the doppelgangers and the woman with the eyepatch. Kept me gripped throughout.
(also Rory didn't die as much in that series)

Well David Tennant's last bit was a movie, after all.
Also I've only seen one season of Matt Smith, but apparently he's the bees knees. I didn't really get how after the episodes I saw.

Matt Smith's performance is generally very very good, at least imo. The writers on the other hand... not so much. Too many deus ex endings.
