Awesome as usual. I probably can't offer the most sophisticated feedback for you, considering how I know jack about music making, other than I know what sounds good and what doesn't. I also haven't heard the original rendition, so I can't make any comparisons there. Regardless, your voice sounds great. It really makes me happy to see people follow their passion with the kind of enthusiasm that you bring to the table. Great work. :)

This is awesome Amps! I can't really give you criticism since I don't know much about music, but this was great! Hope you keep on making it.

ooh, neato

Have you considered using something like Garageband (maybe not the best thing) or Logic pro X so you can record multiple tracks (or input background instrumentals)?

I will warn you now in case you go and listen to the original- this is almost exactly the same. :L
But we have sorta similar voices, except she is a soprano and I'm a mezzo.
I'm glad you like it though, and yeah I just love singing so much, it makes me happy. :)

That's okay haha, I sort of critique myself when it comes to singing anyway, I know which parts I slightly missed the note on but overall this is the best I've ever sang this song. (it's notorious as a really hard one) Thank you. ^_^

Not used Garageband, but back at college I used Logic Pro all the time but mostly for original compositions. I'm not at college and I don't have the money to buy it for myself unfortunately. I did do a cover some months back before I quit, that was professionally recorded with a backing track in a studio, but I hated it so I won't be posting it up. :S

I'm going to try and upload some music more often.
This is a cover of an Amy Winehouse song from her first album, it might not be a very well known one.

It's quite an unusual song and the notes might sound wrong sometimes to the ear, but I swear this is all in tune lol. Probably one of the toughest songs I know to sing acapella.

I might do a Halloween song for the season...I tried to do My Immortal a few years ago but I freaked out and deleted it. Maybe I'll do another Evanescence song...if only my friend wasn't in uni, or I could ask her to do a duet with me for Haunted.

/double post

This is a bit overdue, because I said I was going to sing Evanescence for Halloween and it is now 16 days after Halloween lol.
But I finally uploaded it. In the end I couldn't decide whether I wanted to do My Immortal or Bring Me To Life, so I did both!

Enjoy ^_^

Idk why I'm updating this now because this is ooooold but I redid an old cover with slightly better quality and overall better vocals. My voice these days is much more developed because I've realised for years now I've had the ability to sing in a 'mixed register', but never fully used it. When I learned that the mix is an incredible register and is a singer's secret weapon, I was like, "right that's it I've got to take this on" and it has just improved my voice so much.

I don't sound like I strain anymore because I don't have to - the mix is sort of in between chest and head, so you can sing higher notes but make them sound just as strong. Instead of straining to reach those notes I do this, and it's actually really healthy for my voice. So I love it. And I'm making the most of it ;)
